Hanru Reyneke
ARRI TRINITY OPERATOR
About
I started my career as an editor in 2004 and after 3 years , I moved to the camera department. I worked myself up through the ranks from a second camera assistant/runner/fixer to eventually becoming a camera operator. Now I have operated for 8 years and in this time developed specialized skills in the field of underwater and high-speed camera work. As an underwater cameraman I was blessed to film the Sardine-Run and Great White Sharks without the confinement of a shark-cage.
In 2011 I completed the official Steadicam workshop at Tiffen in the USA. Now I have worked for more than 8 years as Steadicam operator on big productions such as Master Chef SA (Mnet), Idols SA, Master Chef SA, Human Shark Experiment LIVE (National Geographic Channel) (See full credit list on my Credits page). I own a Steadicam rig and worked with various cameras.
Hanru upgraded from a Steadicam operator to a ARRI TRINITY operator in 2022 and loves the freedom the TRINITY rig offers, especially when composing a shot.
This shows his dedication an creative (out-side-the-box) ideas.
I strive for innovative ideas through technical and creative solutions.
